Everyday make a list of 5 things that you are grateful for. In the beginning, it might be challenging to find different things everyday. Part of keeping the journal is that your eyes, heart, and head will just be on the look out for things to add. What we look for evidence for we find. You might just find that a list of 5 things might be too short.
Here is an example entry:
1. My vegetable garden growing
2. The love of my husband
3. My sister Summer's inspirational weight loss
4. I am so grateful for my mom's support
5. My body's ability to heal quickly
